On 8th February 2008, His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa received at the Patriarchal Palace the Arabic-speaking Scout Troop of Alexandria.
During this meeting His Beatitude addressed the 70 youngsters and mentioned the valuable work of the missions on the African Continent, expressed his paternal Love for them all and called on them to remain active members of our Holy Church .
The meeting ended with songs and hymns being sung by the Scouts in Arabic, and they were then taken on a conducted tour of the Patriarchal Palace by his Beatitude.
His Beatitude extended to them all his Patriarchal Blessing and gave each one a small pectoral cross.
