On 15th October 2007 His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa paid a visit to the Embassy of Egypt in the Ukraine, where His Excellency the Ambassador, welcome him warmly and expressed his great satisfaction for the blessed visit of His Beatitude to the Ukraine and to the Embassy of the Land of the Nile.
His Beatitude thanked him for the welcome and emphasized the importance of the projection, in every speech made during his conciliatory visit to the Church of Russia and Ukraine, of the harmonious co-existence of Christians and Muslims in Egypt. He also gratefully thanked His Excellency the President of Egypt Mr. Hosni Mubarak for the support and protection which he grants the Patriarchate, and informed the Ambassador about the missionary service of the Second Throne Church in Africa, as well as the significant results of his visit to Russia and the Ukraine.
