On 25th May 2018, the Alexandrian Primate, His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch, welcomed to the See of the Vicariate in Cairo, the Prosecutor of the Supreme Court Mrs. Xeni Dimitriou – Vasilopoulou, the Deputy Prosecutor Mr. Ioannis Aggelis and the Cairo Prosecutor Mr. Kamel Samir Kamel, who were paying a courtesy visit to the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate, as part of their official presence in the Egyptian capital, with the opportunity of the collaboration of the Judicial Authorities of the two countries, Greece and Egypt, in the fields of Justice. Present at the meeting were the Ambassador of Greece to Egypt Mr. Michael-Christos Diamessis and His Eminence Nicodemus Metropolitan of Memphis and Patriarchal Vicar of Cairo. Following the meeting, His Beatitude guided the Senior Justices to the adjacent historic Holy Church of St Nicholas, as well as to the Cell of St Nektarios Bishop of Pentapols, patron saint of the Patriarchate.
