On 29th September 2010 His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa welcomed at the Patriarchal See the new Consul General of France in Alexandria, Mr. Hedi Picquart, accompnaied by his deputy Mr. Jean-Francois Fau, who paid a courtesy visit to the Ancient Patriarchate.
His Beatitude wished the Honourable Consul a productive tenure on his undertaking of his duties in the Great City and took him on a conducted tour of the Patriarchal Mansion and the famous Alexandrian Library.
