With the Venerable Patriarchal presence of the Primate of the Alexandrian Church, His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, a Patriarchal and Multi-Hierarchal Divine Liturgy was served on 12th November 2019, at the celebrating, beautiful Church of St John the Merciful, Patron Saint of the Holy Metropolis of Limassol.

The Patriarch was assisted at the Divine Liturgy, by Their Eminences of the Alexandrian Throne Makarios Elder Metropolitan of Nairobi, George Metropolitan of Guinea, His Holiness Athanasios Metropolitan of Limassol, His Grace Nikodimos Bishop of Nitria and Exarch in Cyprus of the Alexandrian Patriarchate, and His Grace Nicholas of Amathous.

The psalters were from the beautiful voices of the “Romanos the Melodist” Choir of the Metropolis of Limassol.

Many faithful attended to participate in the Divine Liturgy and to thank the protector of Limassol, which celebrates and is joyous on the memory of St John the Merciful who gave all his earthly wealth to the poor and now enjoys it in heaven.
