On the same day His Beatitude received in the patriarchal Offices in Athens:
- His Eminence Metropolitan George of Zimbabwe with whom he discussed missionary issues
- Mr Michael Koukakis, the new Ambassador of Greece in Zimbabwe
- Mr Agamemnon Tselikas, Lecturer, with whom he examined the ways of operation and staffing of the Patriarchal Library in Alexandria
- Mr Aris Lihnaras, Lawyer and Mr Theodoros Pittaras, a Doctor
In the evening of the 31st October 2007, His Beatitude departed by air for Alexandria in Egypt, seen off at the Athens International Airport by His Eminence Elder Metropolitan Petros of Aksum and the Ambassador for Religious Affairs Mr Karakasis.
