On 29th September 2014, His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, welcomed to the Patriarchal See representatives of the Arabic speaking Orthodox community of Alexandria, who wished His Beatitude health and length of days on the occasion of the upcoming completion of a decade since his elevation to the ancient Throne of St Mark. Collaboration followed on the subject of the programming of the pastoral and social effort in the Parishes of the Community in question, primarily the creation of a medical facility under the auspices of the Patriarchate in the Great City.
