On 19th July 2011, His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa visited Mrs Fofi Gennimata, the Deputy Minister of Education and Religion and discussed with her issues regarding the teaching of Greek language to Greek living in Africa and especially the Greek schools which are in operation in Africa. He also discussed with the Deputy Minister the possibility of establishing Chairs of Greek Studies at the African Universities, something which is of general request in the African countries.
