During the past months, we have noticed the disposition of our Holy Brother Hierarchs for the recognition of Hos Most Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch’s awarding of Autocephaly to the Ukrainian Church by Synodal Tome.
As is well known, our Holy Catholic Orthodox Church operates according to the synodal system of administration, as it received it from tradition and the Holy Ecumenical Councils. According to this, the Presidents of the local Ecclesiastical Synods consisted of the members present.
In conforming with this, we too, as the present and effective authority of the disposition of the Brother Holy Hierarchs, commemorated in the Diptychs of the Catholic Orthodox Church the Primate of the Autocephalous Church of Kiev and All Ukraine, His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphanios, fervently praying for the peace and stability of our Orthodox Churches.
