On 24th June 2018, His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, officiated during Orthros and the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Monastery of St Savvas the Sanctified in Alexandria.

Present were representatives of Orthodox Churches who have arrive in the Great City of Alexandria, to participate in the Pan-Orthodox Theological Conference which is being organized from 24th to 27th June by the Alexandrian Throne, on the topic: “St Hieromartyr Kyrillos Loukaris, Patriarch of Alexandria and later Constantinople”, as well as the celebratory functions which will take place, on the occasion of the 380 years following his martyred death.

The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by the Chief Secretary of the Holy Provincial Synod of Crete, the Very Reverend Archimandrite Prodromos Xenakis, who was celebrating his Feast Day.

In his address, the Alexandrian Primate welcomed to Alexandria the Representatives of the Most Holy Churches, thanking their Primates for their participation in this great event taking place in the Great City of Alexandria.
