On 18th April 2008, His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa received at the Patriarchal See
- A group of professors from the Technical College of the Ionian Islands and Mrs Eleni Alexandri, Professor in Enforcement from the Thechnical College of Athens who passed on the greetings of the President’s Office of the Technical College of the Ionian Islands, Dr George Kalkanis and of the Professors. She also mentioned the start of collaboration with the Patriarchate of Alexandria in the area of Librarianship, etc.
- The erudite Professor Mr Stylianos Perdikis, head of the “Archangelos” study group from the Holy Monasry of Kykkos in Cyprus, on behalf of His Eminence Nicephorus of Kykkos and Tyllirias, who will scientifically support the maintenance effort of the artifacts, icons and vestments, marble and material, as well as other priceless works which are to be displayed at the Patriarchal Museum – Sacristy.
- The distinguished businessman Mr Antypas from Crete , who paid his respects to His Beatitude and held brief discussions with him.
