THE ALEXANDRIAN PRIMATE AT THE APOSTOLIC CITY OF VEROIA

Οn 27th June 2018, His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, arrived in Macedonia, in the Apostolic city of Veroia, following an invitation from the local Metropolitan, His Eminence Panteleimon of Veroia, Naousa and Kampania, to conduct the worship functions in honour of the Apostle Paul, as part of the 24th Pavleia.

On Thursday 28th June in the morning, His Beatitude the Patriarch addressed a greeting and shared with the delegates experiences of the Missions, at the closing of the deliberations of the 24th Three-Day International Scientific Conference of the 24th Pavleia, which this year had as its topic: “Evangelism and Mission according to the Apostle Paul”, at the Antoniadeos House of Literature and Arts of the Municipality of Veroia, in the presence of representatives of Orthodox Patriarchates and Autocephalous Churches, who also gave addresses and read messages from the Primates of their Churches.

In the evening Patriarchal Vespers was served with brilliance and formality for the feast of the Holy Apostles Paul and Peter at the celebrating Old Metropolis of Veroia, conducted by His Beatitude Patriarch Theodoros II, who preached the homily.
