HIS BEATITUDE VISITS THE GREEK PARLIAMENT
On 31st October 2007, His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa visited the Greek parliament, and was welcomed by His Excellency the Speaker, Mr Dimitrios Sioufas and the entire body of Parliamentarians who are responsible for Orthodox issues.
During this meeting His Beatitudeagain thanked the Speaker for the completed renovations of the buildings of the Patriarchal Vicariate in Cairo, the costs of which were born by the Greek Parliament and which will also bear the costs of the publication of the commemorative book.
